A LEGACY OF BRAVE SERVICE
A graduate of Kendall Jr./Sr. High School, Joseph joined the Rochester Fire Academy at just 19 years old in 2008. He dedicated his career to protecting the residents of Rochester. Known for his adventurous spirit, generous heart, and love of the outdoors, he was a beloved figure both in and out of the firehouse.
Following the services at Blue Cross Arena, the procession will make a symbolic final trip to Engine 5 on Lyell Avenue—where Joseph was assigned—before moving to Mt. Hope Cemetery for a private burial.
"The bond shared by firefighters extends far beyond the walls of the firehouse," the Rochester Fire Department said in a statement. "In moments like these, we are reminded that we are a family, united by service, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to one another."
