ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester fire crews are on the scene of a second-alarm structure fire on the city's west side this morning.
Emergency dispatchers received a report of a fire on Burrows Street at approximately 8:30 AM. When first responders arrived on the scene, they encountered a structure heavily engulfed in flames, with large plumes of smoke visible from the surrounding area.

Due to the size of the fire and the intensity of the flames, a second alarm was quickly declared to bring in additional units and manpower to combat the blaze and protect neighboring properties.
Fire officials have confirmed that the building was vacant at the time of the incident, and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under active investigation. Crews are expected to remain on the scene to extinguish hot spots and secure the area.
