Male shot and killed on Maryland Street

Around 8 PM a person was shot and killed on Maryland Street near Dewey Avenue. The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died.
The victims name has not been released.
The Rochester Police Department is handling the investigation.
Neighbors say this could be related to a shooting that happened Saturday night.
