A grassroots anti-violence movement created by a Rochester digital creator continues to gain significant traction across the city by utilizing organized boxing matches to peacefully mediate neighborhood disputes and steer young people away from gun violence.

Raheen Gayden, widely recognized online as "Stxpidmane Bills," launched his independent "Guns Down, Gloves Up" initiative in 2021. The program operates on a straightforward concept: providing individuals with a controlled, supervised platform to resolve active interpersonal conflicts and channel aggressive energy through competitive sportsmanship rather than local street retaliation. Gayden documents the organized bouts online, using his media presence to broadcast messages of unity and conflict resolution directly to local youth.

What began as a localized effort to address neighborhood friction in the city of Rochester has expanded significantly over the past five years. The initiative, currently in its third season of digital production, has evolved from a local anti-violence campaign into an organized street advocacy network with an expanded global viewership. By transforming dangerous street altercations into structured, regulated competition, the initiative works to build mutual respect between conflicting parties, interrupt the cycle of retaliatory violence, and foster a safer neighborhood environment.

During the exclusive broadcast interview, Gayden detailed the long-term vision for the program, emphasizing plans to introduce structured boxing training, ongoing youth mentorship, and formal conflict resolution workshops in collaboration with regional community advocates. Gayden noted that the primary objective remains unchanged: to meet local youth where they are, challenge the normalization of weapon possession, and demonstrate that street disputes can be settled safely and productively without destroying families or communities.
