Fire destroys home on Epworth Street

On Thursday afternoon just after 12:00pm the Rochester Fire Department responded to 32 Epworth Street in Rochester, New York for a report of a fire. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found smoke and flames coming from a 3-story home. Additional units were called to the scene to assist with extinguishing the fire. After about 20 minutes the fire was put out.

The Rochester Fire Department advised that the fire is under investigation, but the preliminary investigation shows that the fire was caused by an appliance. No injuries have been reported.
