Home destroyed by fire on Saint Jacobs Street

On Tuesday afternoon the Rochester Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on Saint Jacobs Street in Rochester, New York. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found smoke coming from a 2-story home.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire shortly after their arrival on scene.
No residents of the home were injured during the incident.
The Rochester Fire Department stated that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
