Male shot of Jefferson Avenue

On Wednesday night around 9:45pm the Rochester Police Department responded to Jefferson Avenue and Frost Avenue for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on scene they found a male who had sustained at least a gunshot wound.
AMR transported the male to Strong Memorial Hospital, where his condition is unknown.
The Rochester police Department is currently investigating the shooting and is asking the public to avoid the area for the next hour.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
