Male shot on Brown Street

On Tuesday afternoon around 3:00pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the 600 block of Brown Street for a report of possible gunshots.
As officers arrived on scene, they found a 31-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Rochester Police Department is investigating the shooting and is asking that anyone with information to call 911.
