Motorcyclist killed in early morning crash

On Wednesday morning around 1:00am the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Genesee Street and Frost Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. When officers arrived on scene, they found 2 motorcyclists lying on the ground. One of the motorcyclists, 30-year-old Malcolm Henry was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The second motorcyclist, who has not been identified, reportedly fell off his motorcycle and was then struck by a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Genesee Street. He was pronounced dead on scene.

According to the Rochester Police Department, both motorcyclists were traveling southbound on Genesee Street around 1:00am, when both motorcyclists lost control of their motorcycles and were ejected to the ground.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident.
