One injured in shooting on Chili Avenue

On Saturday evening just after 5:00pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Chili Avenue and Salina Street for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they located a male lying on the ground, who had suffered at least one gunshot wound to his upper body.
The victim, who is a 33-year-old male was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he is being treated. His injuries are life-threatening.
The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
