Police involved in serious car crash on Carter Street and Norton Street

A Rochester Police cruiser was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Monday night just after 10:00pm at the intersection of Carter Street and Norton Street.
One officer was transported from the scene to a local hospital to be evaluated.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
