The Rochester Community Sports Complex transformed into a premier athletic scouting arena as the second annual CTC Jamboree brought together the region's top high school football talent.

Organized by Changing The Community, the high-profile showcase provided more than 300 standout student-athletes from across Western New York an opportunity to perform in front of college recruiters, scouts, and coaching staff representing divisions nationwide. Running from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the event featured position-specific drills, agility testing, and organized scrimmages designed to simulate collegiate-level speed and evaluation metrics. With higher education opportunities and athletic scholarships potentially on the line, the event focused on creating a direct bridge between localized grassroots hard work and next-level collegiate exposure.

Greg Hopkins, CEO of Changing The Community, emphasized that the organization's core mission centers on expanding developmental pipelines for urban youth while ensuring local prospects receive the regional recognition their athletic achievements deserve. Beyond the gridiron competition, the well-attended showcase served as a broader community engagement hub, drawing a crowd of 1,200 spectators to support local youth development and celebrate athletic excellence in the heart of Rochester. Proceeds from the five-dollar general admission registration fees directly benefit Changing The Community's ongoing year-round youth mentorship, academic assistance, and sports training programming.
