ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Community organizer Clay Harris is scheduled to be arraigned in Rochester City Court tomorrow morning following his arrest today.
Law enforcement authorities confirmed that Harris faces multiple criminal counts, including grand larceny.
The charges follow an investigation into financial discrepancies associated with the "Boxing Extravaganza" event held at the Blue Cross Arena on April 25. Organizers Clay Harris and Derick Gramling had previously acknowledged owing approximately $150,000 in venue fees, unpaid fighter purses, and bounced checks, maintaining that they were actively working to settle the outstanding debts.
Court proceedings are expected to begin tomorrow morning, where formal charges will be unsealed and bail conditions will be set.
