ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police officers responded to reports of a stabbing victim seeking assistance on Lyell Avenue at approximately 12:45 PM today.
Upon arrival, emergency responders located a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. First responders rendered medical care before emergency medical personnel transported him for treatment.
Preliminary investigative details indicate that while medical assistance was summoned on Lyell Avenue, the actual incident may have taken place nearby on North Plymouth Avenue.
