Firefighters extinguish late-night garage fire on Dyson Street near McKinley Street; no injuries reported Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Fire Department crews responded to initial reports of a structure fire at 36 Dyson Street near McKinley Street at approximately 10:45 PM on Saturday.
First arriving firefighters discovered that the fire was located in a garage on the property rather than a main residence. Crews immediately launched an attack on the blaze, bringing the fire under control in roughly 10 minutes and preventing significant damage from spreading to nearby structures.
Firefighters confirmed that no residents or first responders were injured during the incident.
The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation by Rochester Fire Department officials.
