Man critically injured after shooting inside N. Goodman Street corner store

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police officers responded to reports of gunfire inside a local corner store at the intersection of N. Goodman Street and Heidelberg Street at approximately 10:30 PM tonight.
Upon arrival, first responders located an adult male victim inside the establishment suffering from serious gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were immediately stepped up to the scene, and the victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
RPD officers quickly cordoned off the immediate area with crime scene tape to secure the premises and process physical evidence inside and around the store.
No suspects have been taken into custody at this time, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under active investigation.
