Habibi addresses online allegations, cites altered videos; RPD confirms no charges or evidence identified

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Local establishment Habibi Cafe & Restaurant is responding to circulating social media claims, strongly denying accusations of wrongdoing.

GSL News reached out directly to the Rochester Police Department regarding the online claims. Law enforcement officials confirmed that no charges have been filed and no evidence or accusations of sexual assault or rape have been identified or substantiated.

Management addressed the situation directly, stating that recent accusations made against the business are completely false. Furthermore, representatives stated that text messages displayed in viral video posts were altered and edited to misrepresent conversations.

Ownership clarified that no partners, vendors, or individuals were ripped off or defrauded, dismissing the online statements as baseless.

Looking ahead, management expressed a desire to move past the controversy and focus on community and quality service, stating that they want positivity to move forward. The establishment confirmed it will remain open for business and continue operating under its regular scheduled hours.
