Police respond to late-afternoon drive-by shooting on Conkey Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police officers responded to a reports of a drive-by shooting on Conkey Avenue near Hooker Street around 5:35 PM on Monday.

Upon arrival, officers secured the area and located evidence confirming shots had been fired. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Neighborhood residents reported hearing multiple gunshots before emergency vehicles arrived on the scene. Police blocked off portions of the street as investigators worked to collect shell casings and canvas the area for potential witnesses or surveillance footage.

No suspect or vehicle descriptions have been released at this time, and no arrests have been made.
